the ideal way of life...
I tell you what if there were a real starfleet I wouldn't have had so much trouble in deciding what to do with my life before this point! Star trek: tng has always been not only my favorite sci-fi series but also my favorite show altogether. I grew up on it and I must say I was quite a bit disappointed to find that real life is nothing like it! I still am surprised by the ignorance of our species on a daily basis.... will we ever achieve such a high and steady way of life? Well I certainly hope so..... ill do everything I can in this lifetime to assure our progress as a species.... As for my "religion" I'm what I call an energist. I believe we do not cease to be simply because we have died but our consciousness is not what survives. Merely our energy. Christians say we are all part of one whole when we die. They call this whole god. I call this whole energy. Perhaps heaven is a state of positive energy while hell is a state of negative energy, after all I'm sure you can attest to a hell on earth when you've been in a miserable place/situation. I also believe our energy disperses. You don't remain the same collection of energy when you die. Hell, we are hardly the same collection of energy from one millisecond to the next. So I believe its possible for certain parts of our energy to go into either "heaven" or "hell". If you are miserable when you die, you are merely dooming a vast majority of the energy that is your "self" to be stuck in a negative field of energy.... wait....... What am I supposed to be talking about here!?? Ahh yess.... star trek tng..... if it weren't for this show in addition to things like the phantom of the opera, marilyn manson and culturally diverse parents ( and culturally diverse blood), I might be a very close-minded person.... XD
