Trekkie (The Original Series)

None of this Next Generation B.S. I study the Astrology of Star Trek, read the Diane Duane books and wear pointy ears sometimes. My fave episodes are Amok Time, All Our Yesterdays, City on the Edge of Forever, Metamorphosis and of course The Menagerie. Not a geek otherwise, no SCA, D&D or other Sci Fi proclivities. I have many other interests. As a child, Star Trek was the foundation for my later socio-political and philosophical theory. It is still dear to my heart. Fashion wise and in attitude, I am a cross between Courtney Love and Pippi Longstockings I guess.. without the drugs or cigars. Loving and sane, but definitely a handful. I will tell you what I think. Music is my life. If you are a musician you have a better chance of understanding me. I love Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Beck, Elliott Smith, The Clash, Neutral Milk Hotel and Bad Religion to name a few. I love punk rock, protest folk, anti-folk, alt. country and bluegrass. I am also a filmmaker, arts manager, outspoken vegan, anarchist, pagan and blessed mother of two,(although they are older and not always with me.) Health, ecology and sustainability are my keynotes. I have been studying Permaculture for about 15 years. I drive a veggie oil Mercedes. I compost and eat raw as often as I can. My goal is to completely eliminate my trash can. I look like I'm in my 30's and have more in common with younger guys, so... maybe I can find someone to love who will appreciate my wisdom and experience! Looking for a sparkling shining star.
