Utterly tired of silly normal people...

If it's Science Fiction--movies, games, comics, television programming--I LOVE IT. Could recite Jean-Luc's opening soliloquy at four. Frank Herbert is my favorite author, Farscape my favorite show, and ah...movies...well, you likely get the picture. Never been beaten at Star Wars trivial pursuit...never. But, I also enjoy gaming (particularly World of Warcraft), comics (such as V for Vendetta, the Watchmen, Tank Girl) and manga. Never really found a social niche, with all of these interests, and, well, I'm tired of masquerading around as a normal chick (attending college football games, drinking on the weekends between fifty page research papers, and attending "corporate hoes and CEOs" parties)...the inner nerd-geek is trying to be heard. Music runs a close second to sci-fi in my love-list--classic and indie rock, mostly, with dabblings in hip-hop, electronica, and trance (several DJ friends have been awfully helpful). Obviously, I'm looking for a nerd partner-in-crime. Specifically, a nerd who loves science-fiction and video games (and doesn't mind if I can't really hand FPS console games...yeah, I'm a RPG girl). A dedication to music is a must, as well as a sense of humor. A British accent (or good impression) wouldn't hurt, but isn't necessary. Intellectual, but not pompous. I'm not picky...as long as you can take what you dish out, and are ready and willing to get down and dirty with some intense nerd craziness (i.e. rabid debates about warp propulsion and metaphysics), I'm sure we can be friends.
