Sci-Fi fans on Beauty and the Geek

Well I saw the premiere of Beauty and the Geek on the CW and we have sci-fi fan this season. One is a big Star Trek fan and the other has a band that plays Star Wars inspired music. Anybody else watching?

Saw it as well. I've watched it from the start and I like each season. If they reversed it where the girls were the geeks I'd be on it. 'specally since I'm now into D&D. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually do switch to Geek girls with handsome guys, it would certainly make it more interesting. I'm glad that woman didn't make it to the next round, the one that didn't know how to use the decimal system. She made no effort to study and then she blames her partner because he didn't support her. The guy thought he had to apologize to someone that didn't give it their all in the challenges.

True, I felt that she was just there for the money even though she didn't drop her baton when they all had the chance.

I was glad to see "Pi" go because he didn't really seem to respect women all that much. I want to reach through the TV and throttle Mario's partner and the other blonde, they not taking the show serously; they don't study for the challenges and then want to know why they did so lousy.

I can't wait for next week where they give the boys makeovers.

I don't know why the other two couples made such a big deal that they were picked to be kicked off, they were obviously the biggest threat. You pick the teams that have a chance to get that money. I don't think those other two blondes will be there for long, but I guess every reality series has to have someone the audience hates.

This'll most likely get me flamed by all the Trek lovers on the site, but here it goes; Drew's Trek costume looks like it's from 'Voyager' but I'm not sure. Is it?

I'd like to see some good-looking, but emotionally disturbed guys paired up with some sensible, well-adjusted but geeky gals.

I wonder how that would play out....
