Do we not get a vampire option? Or is that just too sketchy?
I'm a tad put off...excuse me while I pout.

Ah... don't pout! Look again. You'll see it that Vampires fall under the Monster Slot in the poll. Now, if you want, you can post things here about the paranormal as well. In fact, that's why I started the thread. So that if there was something people enjoy talking about or want to bring to the attention of others, they can. I've provided most of the links and will continue to do so if I find things that are of interest. So, please, post away. Smile

And, by the way, welcome to the forum!

Done now.

I collect vampire novels and books about vampires myself. Didn't Ramsland do a biography of Anne called "Dark Prism" or something like that? Here's an interesting tidbit for you. I rode in the Krewe of Orpheus Mardi Gras parade in 2000. That is the Krewe started by Harry Connicky Jr. and one of the founding members is Anne Rice. Unfortunately, that year she did not ride in the parade. But, used to pass the house on First St. that she made famous in the Mayfair Witches books everyday going to catch trolley on St. Charles. In all my time in New Orleans, about four years, I never got meet the lady myself, but my best friend down there knows her and is good friends with Christopher.

If you live near or even on Lake Erie, I'd be interested in hearing your input on this.

The photographer Jana Marcus created a book of pictures from Rice's Halloween parties with testimonials from all kinds of different fans, it's beautiful...
I like the Mayfair series cause it was just a giant soap opera with magic hear and there.
Exit to Eden is my favorite..so dirty..but so good.
I'm getting off-topic..vampires...rawr!

Is THIS a recovered UFO? Someone in Brazil took a shot of it on their cell phone. What's your opinion?

there is nothing to say that it is more. no heavy chains to keep it from levitating, no exotic markings no gaurds.....

Will someone shut that man up

I thought that as well. But even a heavy top to a water tower or some such thing would be chained down to prevent it from falling off the bed of the truck. Why isn't this? Could it be that it's in Brazil and they have different laws about such things?

For those interested in Vampirism, here's a site called The Vampire Directory. I believe it includes so called "Real Vampires" in it's listings.

This is my final entry. It is a list of the top 10 weird people of the world. I'm sure that there won't be any tears over my leaving. In fact, I'm pretty sure the Mods of the forum will be over joyed to see me leave. This site is not Christian friendly or even Free Speech Friendly. So I will just be moving along. May God bless and keep you all safe, even if you've come not like me much.

So Long... And Thanks For All The Fish!

Sorry you feel the need to leave. I also find it interesting how the fact that some people don't want other people's relgious beliefs forced on them, or homophobic statmetns, etc., is somehow "anti-Christian". We all have our own paths to walk, and our own beliefs. What is right for you is not right for everyone else. And I find it impossible to see how you say Trek Passions is anti-free speech when they let you post your beliefs and never censored them. It is shame that you have chosen to believe you are somehow being persecuted and leave us. I don't know of anyone who doesn't like you. We just don't always agree with you.
